May 07, 2018 The Suppressor is a weapon attachment in Battlefield Hardline. Functioning similarly to its Battlefield 4 counterpart, the Suppressor decreases a weapon's firing sound and hides the player on the minimap when firing, but also reduces the weapon's muzzle. If you start Battlefield 4 on windows 10 and havnt disabled “handsfree telephony as below” all your sound will cut out. 17-sep-2019 There’s a problem with Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 where you get no sound if your playing with a bluetooth headset. The game plays amazing for me on a i7 2600k with 16 gig ddr3 corsair ram, OCZ Vertex 4 256gb ssd, and a AMD Radeon 6950 2GB Sapphire flex card (which is below specs game is calling for) on max settings. The surround sound doesn't seem to work properly which i am trying to resolve. My PC streams full Dolby 5.1 for everything but this game. Oct 24, 2015 Randomly the machine will either load BF4 with no sound at all (music,fx and ingame voip not working) and restarting the game will only give you a chance to load the game again with sound.

Edit1:
Seems this is a problem with bluetooth in general. I found the following article from the steam forums about bluetooth headset problems in GTA V. It might be worth a read to shed light on any problems your having.

There’s a problem with Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 where you get no sound if your playing with a bluetooth headset. After a bit of googling and research i found the solution;
1. Goto; control panel->Hardware and Sound->Devices and Printers
Talyvel 5 manual. 2. Select Properties on your Bluetooth headset and go to the services section.
3. Uncheck “Handsfree Telephony”.
Note this works on Windows 10 cant say if it work on Windows 7 or 8.
DirtyApe777The issue is that sometimes I'll join a game and have no sound. I have played through an entire map and the sound never came back. I disconnected and rejoined. Sound didn't come back. I quit the game, closed Origin and finally the sound came back. I'm hoping that's all I'll have to do in the future.
This sound thing is a bug. Everyday someone chimes up in the in-game chat and complains about this 'no sound' thing/bug. So far the only ways I've been able to fix it is to exit the game > log out of origin > close origin as in kill the process > open origin and log back in and see if the sound came back. Otherwise I have to restat my PC to get the sound back. I have done a repair on the game files to avail and I fully uninstalled the game as in I deleted any residual files left over after the uninstall through origin. I redownloaded the game and DLC's again but the bug remains. I am left with a PC restart or the closing origin idea in order to get sound working again. I am not alone in this.
Is there a way to log this bug in the case of it happening again so I can post it here for further analysis?
the CTE reddit was asking users to make sure they had the latest realtek audio drivers from their mother board site's (or you could probably just download it directly from realtek)..in hopes of tracking down the crazy ridiculous sound thing that has the game flipping out sound wise..
but never read about a no sound bug, nor experienced one..and are you sure the chat people are specifically saying 'no sound'?..have to ask, because there is another sound thing that was getting more common..but very much involved sound, in fact, it involved having too much of it..
I am a MSCE and A+ certified computer technician and I've already ruled out anything to do with video card driver updates/downgrades. and nothing seems to fix this issue. It seems to be a problem with bf4.
the 3 machines are all different but 2 are similar..
2 are AMD PhenomII X6 @2.8GHz
And the third is an intel Q9400. they run the game great and have been since beta, but this no sound issue drives everyone in the house batty.
This problem only began about 2 weeks ago.
The last time this happened, I had to quit the game, quit origin and restart origin and then reload the game. The sound came back after this.
Luckily thid hasnt happened in about a week.
I should add that I've never had this problem until this latest patch. I've been playing since retail and rarely ever have issues with this game. This patch rolls out and I am actually crashing now, the game randomly alt tabs to desktop and then goes back in game without my input. The sound bug is a new one as well.
